Vitec VMA-2300 standalone encoder is a compact video compression solution designed for applications in which mobility is essential. Measuring just 80mm x 60mm (3.14” x 2.36”) it is ideal for IP digital video recorders, and laptop-based recording.

The flexible Vitec VMA-2300 encodes S-video and composite streams as MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MPEG-1 and MJPEG. It features an Ethernet 10 Base-T or 100 Base-TX output.
